This person will assist with the growth of a research division by producing and supporting the development of various prediction models as well as investment analytics.   • Develop prediction models to expand the investment strategies of the firm using advanced quantitative techniques such as machine learning, optimization, pattern recognition, and time series analysis
  • Lead and oversee the research production of the division, from idea generation and data collection, to model creation and validation
  • Assess the profitability of proposed investment strategies by applying back-testing, rigorous statistics, and computational experiments on historical data

Requirements:

  • PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other quantitative discipline - OR - advance degree in similar areas with at least 3 years of relevant experience
